This power supply features an output enable connections on the terminal strip (R.C.G. & R.C.).  The output is “on” when the included jumper/short is in place.  If the jumper/short is removed the output is “off”.  This is a low-voltage, low-current signal that can be used to disable the power supply if the jumper is replaced with a switch or thermostat.  The thermostat should be used only as an over-temperature / under-temperature safety switch and not as a regular means of temperature control.

The cooled aluminum plate on the front and waste heat is exhausted to high-density fins on the back. Fins are fan cooled. The fan air enters on the middle back and exhausts on sides. The cooler incorporates legs which lift the fan's air inlet off of a table top, so the cooler can be operated directly on a table.
